আমরা প্রায় ঘন্টা খানেক ট্রেনে বসেছিলাম। একদিকে এই বিধ্বংসী ঝড়ের দাপট এতোই যে মনে হচ্ছিল পুরো ট্রেনটিকে উল্টে দেবে । অন্যদিকে আমাদের সময়ের মধ্যে পৌঁছাতে হবে । কিছুদিন পরে জানতে পারি এই ঝড়ের নাম দেওয়া হয়েছিলো "আয়লা"। তারপর অন্য একটি ট্রেন ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছয় এবং আমাদের ট্রেনের সকল যাত্রী ওই ট্রেনে উঠে পড়ে। ঘটনাস্থল থেকে ট্রেন শিয়ালদহ স্টেশনে পৌছালে ঘড়িতে তখন পাঁচটা বাজে। শিয়ালদহ স্টেশন থেকে ৪৫বি নম্বর বাস ধরে বিড়লা মন্দির পৌঁছাই। তারপর টেলিফোন বুথ থেকে লিখে দেওয়া মোবাইল নম্বর এ কল করি। কিন্তুকোনো লাভ হল না। কারণ যে ব্যক্তিকে কল করি , তিনি বলেন এখন অফিস বন্ধ হয়ে গিয়েছে। আপনারা আগামীকাল সকাল ১০ টায় অফিসে আসবেন। এই কথা শুনে আমি হতভম্ব হয়ে যাই। কল শেষ করে বেরোতেই অন্য একটি ছেলে ঐ নম্বরেই কল করতে যাচ্ছে। আমি ছেলেটিকে জিঞ্জাসা করলাম তুমি কি রানাঘাটের "অনামিকা কনসাল্ট এজেন্সী" থেকে এসেছ ? ছেলেটি বলে- হ্যাঁ আমরা চারজন এসেছি। তারপর আমি তাকে বললাম -এখন অফিস বন্ধ হয়ে গিয়েছে, তাই সকাল ১০ টায় অফিসে আসতে বলে। তখন ঘড়িতে ৭ টা বেজে গিয়েছে। ঝড়বৃষ্টি হওয়ায় গাড়ী চলাচল বন্ধ হয়ে গিয়েছে। এখন কী করব আর কোনও উপায় মাথায় আসছিলো না আমাদের। পরে সকলে মিলে একটি সিদ্ধান্ত নিই লজ এ থাকার জন্য। কিন্তু লজ ভাড়া খুব বেশি হওয়ায় আমরা লজ এ থাকতে পারলাম না। কারণ কারো পকেটে তেমন টাকা ছিল না। এরপর আমরা সবাই মিলে বিড়লা মন্দির থেকে প্রায় ৮ কিলোমিটার হেঁটে আবার শিয়ালদহ স্টেশনে এসে পৌঁছাই রাত সাড়ে ৯ টা নাগাদ । পেটে প্রচন্ড ক্ষুধার জ্বালা। আর এক দিকে ঝড়ের দাপট। চারিদিকে গাছপালা এলোমেলোভাবে পড়ে রয়েছে। স্টেশনের ভিতরে ঢুকে এক জায়গায় পেপার বিছিয়ে শুয়ে পড়লাম। কিন্তু ঘুম আসে না ক্ষুধার জ্বালায়। তারপর দোকান থেকে এক কেজি চিড়া কিনে নিয়ে আসি এবং চার জন মিলে ভাগ করে খেয়ে ঘুমিয়ে যাই। বাকি অংশ আজ আর লিখলাম না । এর জন্য পরের এপিসোড এ চোখ রাখুন। ধন্যবাদ৷।।।।।।।

Then I told him - now the office is closed, so he told me to come to the office at 10 in the morning. Then it was 8 o'clock. Traffic was light at this time of night due to heavy rains. We had no idea what to do now. Later everyone decided to stay at the lodge. But we could not stay at the lodge because the rent was too high. Because no one had that much money in their pockets. Then we all walked about 8 km from Birla temple and reached Sealdah station again at 9:30 pm. Irritation of extreme hunger in the stomach. On the other hand, the storm. The plants are lying around randomly. I went inside the station and spread the paper in one place and lay down. But sleep does not come because of hunger.
