সকালে ঘুম থেকে উঠে দেখি বিপুল নামক বন্ধুর জোড়া কে যেন নিয়ে গেছে । তারপর সবাই ব্রাশ করে ফ্রেস হয়ে গেলাম ।বন্ধু বিপুল সরকার ফুটপাথের দোকান থেকে জুতো কিনে নেয় । আমাদের যাত্রা শুরু হয় আবার সেই বিড়লা মন্দির এর উদ্দেশ্যে। পরের দিন ঝড় পুরোপুরি বন্ধ হয়ে গিয়েছিল। পায়ে হেঁটে বিড়লা মন্দির পৌঁছে অফিস খুঁজে বের করি। কিন্তু তখনও অফিস বন্ধ। তারপর আমরা রোডের ধারে বসে থাকলাম যতক্ষণ না অফিস খুলছে। খিদাও লেগেছে খুব। আগের দিন রাতে যে চিড়া খেয়েছিলাম তার কিছু অংশ ব্যাগে ভরে রেখেছিলাম। সেগুলি বের করে খেয়ে কিছুটা শান্তি পেলাম। এরপর অফিস থেকে কেউ একজন এসে আমাদের ডেকে নিয়ে যায়। অফিসের ভিতরে ঢুকে দেখি শুধু একটা টেবিল ও একটি চেয়ার আছে। আর সেখানে একজন ভদ্রলোক বসে আছেন। তিনি আমাদের উদ্দেশ্য করে বলেন নিজের নিজের জুতোর সাইচ্ ও নাম লিখে দিতে। উনার কথা মতো সব লিখে দিলাম । সবাইকে একটি করে সাদা চিঠির খামে নিজের নিজের কাগজপত্রসহ আমাদের হাতে দিলেন এবং বললেন খামগুলো হাতে ধরে শিয়ালদহ ওভার ব্রিজের পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে। আমরা শিয়ালদহ পৌঁছে উনার কথা মতো দাঁড়িয়ে থাকলাম। কিছুক্ষণ পরে দুই জন ব্যক্তি এসে আমাদের এক দোকানে নিয়ে গিয়ে ইউনিফর্ম ও সু কিনে দেয়। তারপর টেংরা নামক জায়গায় নিয়ে গিয়ে দুপুরের খাবার খাইয়ে একটি অফিসে নিয়ে যায় । ওখানকার অফিসার আমাদের দুজন করে আলাদা করে দেন। চার বন্ধুর মধ্যে আমি ও মিঠুন আর বিপুল ও জয়ন্ত। এরপর আর আমাদের দেখা হয়নি মাসখানেক। আমার ও মিঠুন এর ডিউটি পড়ে কলকাতার গোলপার্ক এর আকাশ টাওয়ার নামক বিল্ডিঙে। আমাদের সুপারভাইজার হিসেবে নিয়োগ করার কথা ছিল এবং বেতন ১২০০০ টাকা কিন্তু শেষ পর্যন্ত সিকিউরিটি গার্ডের কাজ করতে হয়। আর বেতন দেয় ২৫০০ টাকা ।আমাকে খুব খারাপ লাগে, ফলে নতুন করে স্কুল ভর্তি হওয়ার জন্য বদলপুর উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক বিপদ তারণ কবিরাজ মহাশয়কে কল করে বলি - আমার দুর্দশার কথা । এই কথা শুনে তিনি আমাকে বাড়ি ফিরে আসার কথা বলেন। আমি স্যারকে ধন্যবাদ জানিয়ে কল কেটে দিই। বাকি পরের এপিসোড এ চোখ রাখুন। ধন্যবাদ৷ @@##₹₹%%
I woke up in the morning and saw who had taken a pair of friends named Bipul. Then everyone brushed and became fresh. Friend Bipul Sarkar bought shoes from the sidewalk shop. Our journey started again for the purpose of that Birla temple. The next day the storm stopped completely. I reached Birla temple on foot and found the office. But the office is still closed. Then we sat on the side of the road until the office opened. I like hunger too. I put some of the chira I had eaten the night before in a bag. I took them out and got some peace. Then someone from the office came and called us. I entered the office and saw that there was only a table and a chair. And there's a gentleman sitting there. He told us to write the names and sizes of our own shoes. I wrote everything as he said. He handed each of us a white letter envelope with his own papers and told us to stand by the Sealdah Over Bridge holding the envelopes in hand. When we reached Sealdah, we stood as he said. After a while two people came and took us to a shop and bought uniforms and su. Then he took her to a place called Tengra, had lunch and took her to an office. The officer there separated the two of us. Among the four friends, me and Mithun and Bipul and Jayant. After that we did not meet for a month. Mithun and I went on duty in the building called Akash Tower in Goalpark, Kolkata. We were supposed to be hired as supervisors and the salary was Rs 12,000 but in the end we had to work as security guards. And the salary is 2500 rupees. I feel very bad, so I called Badalpur High School headmaster Bipad Taran Kabiraj Mahasaya to get admission in the new school - tell me about my plight. On hearing this, he told me to return home.
