উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ের সিড়িতে পারি দিতেই শুরু হল এক নতুন জীবন।বিদ্যালয়ের নাম আমিনপুর উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়। অনেক স্বপ্ন চোখের সামনে ভাসতে থাকে। কিন্তু এ ছাড়াও অনেক নতুন বন্ধু হল । বন্ধুদের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে প্রিয় ছিল অনন্ত দাস। আমি পঞ্চম শ্রেণি থেকে সপ্তম শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত ফাস্ট ডিভিশন এ পাশ করি। তখন আমার বয়স ১৫ বছর, যৌবন এ পা দিয়েছিলাম । সেই সঙ্গে যৌবনের দৈহিক চাহিদা খুব বেশি হত। আর এই সব কারণেই আমি অস্টম শ্রেণিতে উত্তীর্ন হতে পারিনি। তবুও কখনো হাল ছাড়িনি। সেই দিন থেকেই নতুন করে শুরু করলাম পড়াশোনা এবং আরও বেশি নম্বর পেয়ে নবম শ্রেণিতে উত্তীর্ন হলাম৷ আর মাধ্যমিক বোর্ড পরীক্ষায় ৫০০ নম্বর পেয়ে উত্তীর্ন হই। শতকরা হিসাবে ৬২.৫% ..................!
