আমিনপুর স্কুলে পড়ার সময় একটি ঘটনা ঘটে যায়। সেই ঘটনাটি হল- "আমাদের স্কুলে ক্রিকেট প্রতিযোগীতার আয়োজন করেছিল "। সেই প্রতিযোগীতায় আমিও অংশগ্রহন করেছিলাম।সেই প্রতিযোগীতা হয়েছিল ভাল আর খুব ভাল ছাত্রদের মধ্যে। আমি ছিলাম ভাল ছাত্রদের দলে।টসে জিতে আমরা ফিল্ডিং করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিই। আমি অফ কিপারের জায়গায় দাড়িয়ে ছিলাম কিন্তু হঠাৎ একটি ক্যাচ্ উঠে যায় আমার সামনে ৩ মিটার দুরে। আমি হতবাক হয়ে লাফিয়ে বলটি ধরার চেষ্টা করায় কেমন যেন যাদুর মতো আমার বাঁ হাতে বলটি আটকে যায়। তা দেখে সবাই হতবাক যে কি করে বলটি ধরল। আমি নিজেও বুঝতে পারিনি কি করে এটা হল।সেই দিন থেকে আমার পরিচিতি বেড়ে গেল।এই রকমই আরো একটি ঘটনা ঘটেছিল আমার জীবনে। একবার গ্রামের ছেলেরা ক্রিকেট টুর্নামেন্ট খেলতে গিয়েছিলাম , তেজিহার নামক একটি গ্রামে। ওই ঘটনায় আমি খুব আনন্দ পেয়েছিলাম । কারন আমাদের দল ফাইনালে উঠেছিল আর বিরোধী দল ছিল পাশের গ্রাম লক্ষনতাড়া। তাড়া খেলতেও পারে খুব ভাল আর অন্যদিকে আমাদের ভালো খেলোয়ার ছিল না। তাই ভাবলাম যে ওদেরকে প্রথম পুরস্কার দেব আর আমরা দ্বিতীয় পুরস্কার নেব।কিন্তু ওরা বলে উঠল আমরা খেলে বিজয়ী হতে চাই । তারপর আমপ্যায়ার টস করল এবং বিরোধী দল জিতে ব্যাট করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় এবং আমরা ফিল্ডিং করি।এখানে মজার ঘটনা হল যখন আমরা ব্যাটিং করি তখন তিন বল এ বারো রান লাগবে জিততে হলে। আর আমিই ছিলাম শেষ উইকেট ,সঙ্গে ছিল আমার পার্টনার ।আমি স্ট্রাইকে ব্যাট হাতে। বোলার বল ছুড়তেই আমি সজোড়ে ব্যাট ঘোরালাম আর বল গিয়ে পড়ল বাউন্ডারির ওপাড়ে। একই ভাবে পঞ্চম বলটিও ছয় মারলাম। আমরা ম্যাচ্ জিতে গেলাম।......................

That competition was between good and very good students. I was in the team of good students. After winning the toss, we decided to field. I was standing in the place of the off keeper but suddenly a catch went up 3 meters in front of me. I jumped in shock and tried to catch the ball as if the ball got stuck in my left hand like magic. Everyone was shocked to see how he caught the ball. I didn't even know how it happened. My acquaintance grew from that day. Another incident like this happened in my life. Once the village boys went to play a cricket tournament, in a village called Tejihar. I was very happy about that incident. Because our team reached the final and the opposition party was Lakshantara, the next village. Chase can be very good and on the other hand we did not have a good player. So I thought I would give them the first prize and we would take the second prize. But they said we want to win by playing. Then the umpire tossed and the opposition decided to bat after winning and we fielded. The funny thing here is that when we bat, it takes twelve runs off three balls to win. And I was the last wicket, with my partner. I went on strike with the bat. As soon as the bowler threw the ball, I turned the bat and the ball went to the other side of the boundary. In the same way I hit the fifth ball with six. We won the match .......................
