উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পাশ করে কলেজে ভর্তির পালা । আমি ভূগোল বিষয়ে অনার্স নিয়ে পড়তে চেয়েছিলাম। তাই আমি তিনটি কলেজ , যথাক্রমে- হরিরামপুর দেওয়ান গিনি কলেজ, গঙ্গারামপুর কলেজ ও বালুরঘাট কলেজে ভর্তির ফর্ম পূরণ করেছিলাম। প্রতি কলেজে দুটি করে বিষয়ে অনার্সের জন্য আবেদন করি। বিষয়গুলি হল ভূগোল,সংস্কৃত । কিন্তু অনার্স নিয়ে পড়তে গেলে অনেক টাকার প্রয়োজন । তবুও বাবা দুই কুইন্টাল ধান বিক্রি করে আমাকে টাকা দেয় । কিন্তু হরিরামপুর কলেজ ও বালুরঘাট কলেজে একই তারিখে কাউন্সিলিং শুরু হয় । আমি ভাবছিলাম হরিরামপুর আমার বাড়ি থেকে কাছে হবে আর বালুরঘাট অনেক দুরে । তাই আমি হরিরামপুর কলেজে ভূগোল বিষয়ে কাউন্সিলিং এ উপস্থিত হই ।তবে সেখানে আমার চান্স পাইনি। কারন আমাদের স্কুলের আর এক বন্ধু আমার সমান নম্বর পেয়েছিলো। কিন্তু শেষ পর্যন্ত সেই বন্ধুটি চান্স পেয়ে যায়। আমি নিরাশ হয়ে ফিরে আসি বাড়িতে । পরে অবশ্য এক বন্ধুর দ্বারা জানতে পারি যে বালুরঘাট কলেজের কাউন্সিলিং এ আমার নাম ঘোষণা করেছিল। কিন্তু আমি তো তখন হরিরামপুর কলেজে । পরবর্তীতে গঙ্গারামপুর কলেজেও ভূগোল বিষয়ে চান্স পাইনি। শেষ পর্যন্ত সংস্কৃত বিষয় নিয়ে ভর্তি হয়ে যাই। শুরু হয় বি এ ক্লাসের ফার্স্ট ইয়ারের পড়াশোনা। বাকি অংশটি পরের এপিসোড এ। ধন্যবাদ৷???????????
College admission after passing high school. I wanted to read about Honors in Geography. So I filled the admission forms for three colleges, Harirampur Dewan Gini College, Gangarampur College and Balurghat College respectively. I apply for honors in two subjects in each college. The subjects are Geography, Sanskrit. But if you want to study with honors, you need a lot of money. Yet my father sold me two quintals of paddy and gave me money. But counseling at Harirampur College and Balurghat College started on the same date. I thought Harirampur would be close to my house and Balurghat would be far away. So I attended counseling on geography at Harirampur College. But I didn't get a chance there. Because another friend from our school got the same number as me. But in the end that friend got a chance. I came home disappointed. Later I came to know through a friend that my name was announced in the counseling of Balurghat College. But I was in Harirampur College then. Later, Gangarampur College also did not get a chance in geography. In the end I got admitted with Sanskrit subject. The first year study of BA class started.
